Section 20:04:13:26 - Information required for application for licenses

All associations applying for a license from the commission or applying for racing dates shall give the names of all directors, officers, and stockholders of their association, together with fingerprints and photographs of each officer and director and the percent of stock owned by each stockholder. The association shall furnish the commission with any other information needed to ascertain the integrity and financial resources of the association to conduct dog racing in the state of South Dakota.

If the association's income is taxable by the federal government, the commission may also require the members of the board of directors of the association and any stockholder of the association owning or controlling more than 33 percent of the outstanding stock of the association to furnish the commission with information that will allow the commission to ascertain the integrity and financial investment in dog racing in the state of South Dakota of each director and each stockholder. After receiving the application, the commission may call for further data and information in writing or it may ask the officers, stockholders, and directors of the association to appear personally before the commission to ascertain the integrity and financial capability of the association to conduct dog racing in South Dakota.
