Section 1017.34 - Field inspections(a) Inspectors may stop and inspect taxicabs in operation, or appearing to be in operation, to ensure continued compliance with the act, this part or any order of the Authority.(b) Upon field inspection, an inspector may instruct a taxicab driver to drive the taxicab directly to TLD Headquarters for a compliance inspection if the inspector believes that the taxicab is not in compliance with this chapter and represents a public safety concern.
