Section 297.232 - Soil erosion and sedimentation controlThe operator shall manage surface water and control erosion and sedimentation to:
(1) Divert surface water away from the storage area with measures and structures necessary to handle surface water flows, based on a 25-year, 24-hour precipitation event, and supported by written calculations and also in compliance with Chapter 102 (relating to erosion and sediment control).(2) Meet the requirements of Chapter 102 and Chapter 105 (relating to dam safety and waterway management).(3) Prevent erosion to the maximum extent possible, including if possible, using revegetation.The provisions of this § 297.232 amended January 12, 2001, effective 1/13/2001, 31 Pa.B. 235.
