Section 19.286 - For payments in lieu of local taxes by departmentAN ACT
Making appropriations to the Department of Environmental Resources out of various funds for the payment of annual fixed charges in lieu of taxes to political subdivisions on lands acquired by the Commonwealth for Project 70.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. The following sums, or as much thereof as may be necessary, are hereby appropriated out of the funds indicated to the Department of Environmental Resources for the fiscal year July 1, 1984, to June 30, 1985, for the payment of annual fixed charges in lieu of taxes to political subdivisions on land acquired by the Commonwealth under Project 70 as provided in the act of June 22, 1964 (Sp. Sess., P. L. 131, No. 8), known as the Project 70 Land Acquisition and Borrowing Act: Out of the Game Fund ... 15,000
Out of the Fish Fund ... 5,000
Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 1984, or immediately, whichever is later.
