Section 785:25-7-2 - Inspection fee

(a) Fees for any such inspection must be paid by the owner upon submission of an itemized statement by the Board.

(b) Fees for inspections not paid by the owner within thirty (30) days after notice by the Board, shall be a lien against any property of such owner, to be recovered by suit instituted by the District Attorney of the county at the request of the Board. Such liens shall be superior in right to all mortgages or other encumbrances, except ad valorem tax liens, placed upon the land and the water appurtenant thereto or used in connection therewith.
