Section 35:37-3-21 - Multiple shift operations(a) Multiple shift operations may be approved by the Director provided the management of an official establishment requests in writing and a reasonable amount of time is allowed for the Agency to provide inspection personnel. The request for this operation must clearly show the necessity for the additional shift(s). Therefore, plant management must specify the type(s) of operation(s) that will be conducted during the multiple shifts and must further demonstrate that at least five (5) hours of work will be required in excess of a normal eight hour shift on a continual and on-going basis during the normal work week of Monday through Friday.(b) If any of the provisions of this rule are not met, the Director shall refuse or revoke the approval for multiple shift operations and require the establishment be billed for overtime inspection services at the appropriate established rate in effect.Okla.
