Section 75-04-01-31 - Group home bathrooms1. Bathrooms in group home facilities must be located in places that facilitate maximum self-help by clients. 2. Bathrooms in group home facilities must provide showers, bathtubs, and lavatories approximating normal patterns found in homes, unless specifically contraindicated by program needs. 3. Bathrooms in group home facilities must serve only up to four individuals each. 4. At least one bathroom per group home facility must be accessible and usable by nonambulatory visitors and employees. 5. Bathrooms in group home facilities must have hot water supplied to lavatories and bathing facilities in the range of one hundred ten to one hundred forty degrees Fahrenheit [47.22 to 60 degrees Celsius], as controlled by a tempering valve, located to preclude client access.
