Section 33-24-05-1107 - Requirements for ancillary equipmentAn owner or operator must provide ancillary equipment with secondary containment (for example, trench, jacketing, doublewalled piping) that meets the requirements of subsections 1 and 2 of section 33-24-05-1105, except for:
1. Above ground piping (exclusive of flanges, joints, valves, and other connections) that are visually inspected for leaks on a daily basis;2. Welded flanges, welded joints, and welded connections, that are visually inspected for leaks on a daily basis;3. Sealless or magnetic coupling pumps and sealless valves, that are visually inspected for leaks on a daily basis; and4. Pressurized above ground piping systems with automatic shutoff devices (for example, excess flow check valves, flow metering shutdown devices, loss of pressure actuated shutoff devices) that are visually inspected for leaks on a daily basis.N.D.
