Section 13B .1915 - ADULT CARE HOME PERSONNEL REQUIREMENTS(a) The administrator shall designate a person to be in charge of the adult care home residents at all times. The nurse in charge of nursing services may also serve as supervisor-in-charge of the adult care home beds.(b) If adult care home beds are located in a separate building or a separate level of the same building, there shall be a person on duty in the adult care home areas at all times.(c) A licensed facility shall provide staff to assure that activities of daily living, personal grooming, and assistance with eating are provided to each resident. Medication administration as indicated by each resident's condition or physician's orders shall be carried out as identified in each resident's plan of care.(d) Adult care home facilities licensed as a part of a combination facility shall comply with the staffing requirements in 10A NCAC 13F.0605 herein incorporated by reference including subsequent amendments and editions.10A N.C.
