(a) The purpose of the Rural Area Revitalization Projects Program is to assist the efforts of eligible not-for-profit, local community-based organizations in housing preservation and community renewal activities in the rural areas of the State by providing funding for a portion of the costs of rural area revitalization projects and to encourage community preservation and improvement in such areas.(b) The regulations contained herein are applicable for defining eligible applicants and projects, selection criteria and contract performance.N.Y.
