Section 1503.5 - Spacing of sprinkler heads

(a) Sprinkler heads installed in new sprinkler systems and additional sprinkler heads installed in existing sprinkler systems shall be located and arranged to spray all parts of the area to be protected, including closets and alcoves opening from such areas.

(b) Spacing of sprinkler heads installed in new sprinkler systems shall conform to the requirements of the generally accepted standards listed in the appendix*.
