Section 3.13 - Committee on geographic names

(a) The commissioner with the approval of the Regents shall appoint a committee on geographic names of five members. The committee shall determine, subject to approval by the Regents, place names in New York State pursuant to section 174 of the Education Law.

(b) The committee shall submit its findings to the Regents for final action.
