Section 461.4 - Responsibility for payment

(a) For current recipients of HR and ADC, the social services district shall include in the income maintenance grant the cost of home-delivered meals in accordance with department regulations, and the recipient shall pay the full cost to the provider directly. (See Schedule SA-5, section 352.7[c] of this Title.)

(b) For beneficiaries of SSI who were former recipients of AABD and had an allowance included within the grant for home-delivered meals when these cases were transferred to the SSI program, the recipient shall pay the full cost of the service directly to the provider.

(c) For all other SSI beneficiaries, the social services district shall pay the provider for the cost of preparation and delivery of home-delivered meals, and the recipient shall pay the provider for the cost of raw food.
