Section 461.2 - Eligibility

(a) Home-delivered meals shall be provided only to current recipients of HR and ADC financial assistance and SSI benefits.

(b) Home-delivered meals shall be provided only under the following conditions:

(1) when the recipient is suffering or is likely to suffer from malnutrition because he lacks the mobility, skills or incentive to obtain or prepare adequate meals; or

(2) to enable a recipient to live in his own home.

(c) Services staff shall determine eligibility for the service.

(d) Services staff shall make appropriate arrangements with providers for delivery of authorized meals.
