The New York State inspection reminder sticker (VS-1083) may be displayed on the inside of the front windshield in the upper center not more than six inches from the top of the windshield. The sticker may be issued, on a voluntary basis, by a New York State official inspection station to for hire vehicles licensed by the New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission that are subject to three inspections in each calendar year. The sticker shall display the date that the next inspection is due.
