Section 343.3 - Applicability

(a) This Part shall apply to any not-for-profit corporation, local government, school district, or department or part thereof which meets the requirements for providing an alcohol awareness program for youth under this Part, and which wishes to become a certified provider of such programs.

(b) A provider shall not operate a program called an alcoholism awareness program for youth nor shall it promote such a program to the courts as a program established pursuant to chapter 683 of the Laws of 1990 unless such provider has been approved and certified by the division.
