Section 630.2 - Selection of center

(a) A public or nonprofit private organization desirous of entering into a contract with the Labor Department for the operation of a multipurpose center for displaced homemakers shall file its request on a form prescribed by the Industrial Commissioner.

(b) In evaluating applications, the Industrial Commissioner shall consider, among other factors, the quality of the applicant's resources and facilities and its capability of providing the services in accordance with article 23-B of the Labor Law, this Part and the data contained in the application.
