Section 8:34-7.5 - Extension of time
(a) Upon a licensee's written application to the Board, accompanied by written documentation supporting the reasons for the request, the Board, upon a finding of good cause in accordance with 8:34-1.6, may grant an extension of the time in which a licensee is to complete the continuing education requirement for each triennial licensure period.
(b) Extension letters with a date of expiration shall be issued by the Board and shall serve as verification that the individual remains licensed during this period of time. Upon completion of the required continuing education hours within the prescribed period of time, a license shall be issued.
