Section 19:2-9.5 - Unauthorized installations

Anyone performing work upon the Expressway or Authority property without the access or occupancy permit required by 19:2-9.3 shall stop work immediately when so ordered by Authority staff. The Authority shall inspect all work performed on the Expressway or Authority property and make a recommendation for removal, restoration, remediation and/or submission of required permit application and associated fees. Any person or persons performing unauthorized work on the Expressway or Authority property shall pay a $ 1,000 fee for performing such unauthorized work and shall submit an application for the appropriate permit to remove, restore, or remediate and/or continue construction work as approved by the Director of Engineering. All associated fees in 19:2-9.3 shall also apply. All fees shall be nonrefundable.
