Section 16:53-3.3 - Window opening

(a) Each window opening, other than the driver's window, shall be restricted to a maximum of six inches.

(b) On autobuses that are used to transport children to or from school or school-connected activities, each full side window, other than push-out type windows installed in accordance with N.J.A.C. 16:53-3.8(f), shall provide an unobstructed opening at least nine inches high and 22 inches wide, obtained by lowering the window.
