Section 16:49-4.1 - General provisions

(a) This subchapter is authorized under 39:5B-25 et seq. and shall be read and interpreted in such a manner as to be, to the greatest degree practicable, in conformance with the applicable provisions of the hazardous materials transportation laws of the United States Department of Transportation.

(b) As used in this subchapter, the phrase "Route 29 tunnel facility" shall mean both the constructed Northbound and Southbound covered portions of State Highway Route 29 located within the City of Trenton, in Mercer County, New Jersey.
