Section 10:71-8.7 - Safeguarding information

The Federal Social Security Act requires that a state must provide safeguards which restrict the use or disclosure of information concerning applicants and beneficiaries to purposes directly connected with the administration of public assistance. Therefore, the policies and procedures outlined in 10:69-9.8 through 9.10 (safeguarding information) apply to the Medicaid Only program.
