Section Saf-C 6906.10 - Operator Responsibilities(a) The operator shall determine that the area where pyrotechnic effects, special effects or flame effects are to be utilized are safe and free of any material that could readily ignite a fire, that audience barriers are in place and that the area is in compliance with the requirements of these rules.(b) The operator shall ensure that all assistants, apprentices and other personnel pertaining to a performance have received proper training in the following: (1) The performance of their duties;(2) Relevant laws, rules and NFPA requirements relative to pyrotechnic effects, special effects and flame effects before a proximate audience;(3) All safety hazards associated with the particular performance or event; and(4) Communications with any required fire watch personnel.N.H.
