Section Saf-C 6802.02 - Manufacturer Responsibility

(a) A manufacturer of preliminary breath test devices may submit a request for an evaluation of the device by the laboratory.

(b) Each device submitted for evaluation shall be accompanied by any peripheral materials necessary to perform the evaluation such as:

(1) An operation manual;

(2) A list of unit capabilities that include criteria identified in Saf-C 6802.03(b);

(3) The carrying case;

(4) Mouthpieces;

(5) Batteries; and

(6) Peripheral hardware and software.
