Section Saf-C 1308.20 - Mirrors(a) The interior mirror shall be either clear view laminated glass or clear view glass bonded to a backing which retains the glass in the event of breakage. The mirrors shall have rounded corners and protected edges. Each type A school bus shall have a minimum of a 6" X 16" mirror and each type B, C, and D school bus shall have a minimum of a 6"X 30" mirror.(b) Each school bus shall be equipped with exterior mirrors which meet or exceed the requirements of FMVSS 111, as was in effect on the date of manufacture for the school bus. Mirrors shall be easily adjustable but shall be rigidly braced so as to reduce vibration.(c) Heated mirrors shall be permitted.N.H. Admin. Code § Saf-C 1308.20
