Section Env-Dw 103.53 - Secondary maximum contaminant level (SMCL)

"Secondary maximum contaminant level (SMCL)" means "secondary maximum contaminant level" as defined in 40 CFR 143.2(f), as reprinted in Appendix C, which are for contaminants that primarily affect the aesthetic qualities of drinking water which in turn affect public acceptance of the drinking water.
