Section 706.5553 - Authority of certificate holder to lease taxicab to independent contractor; requirements1. Except as otherwise provided in sections 2 to 12, inclusive, a certificate holder may not lease any vehicle which it uses as a taxicab.2. A certificate holder may not lease a taxicab pursuant to sections 2 to 12, inclusive unless the certificate holder: (a) Is the registered owner of the taxicab; or(b) Has the legal authority to lease the taxicab to an independent contractor pursuant to sections 2 to 12, inclusive.3. As used in this section, "registered owner" has the meaning ascribed to it in NRS 482.102.Nev. Admin. Code § 706.5553
