Section 482.140 - "Bait and switch" advertising and selling practices prohibited1. "Bait and switch" advertising and selling practices must not be used. Vehicles advertised for sale must, unless otherwise stated, be in the possession of the dealer, owner or advertiser as advertised at the address given. Unless otherwise stated, the vehicles must be in a condition to be demonstrated and be willingly shown and sold at advertised prices and terms. The advertiser shall, upon request, present evidence to the prospective purchaser that the advertised vehicles have been sold.2. As used in this section, "bait and switch" means to offer a vehicle at a low price to attract a prospective purchaser in order to induce him or her to purchase a vehicle with a higher price by disparaging the advertised vehicle.Nev.
