Section 477.983 - Order for corrective action: Extension of time for compliance1. A person who is issued an administrative citation pursuant to NRS 477.240 which includes an order for corrective action may request an extension of time to comply with the order. 2. A request for an extension made pursuant to this section must: (a) Be submitted in writing to the State Fire Marshal; (b) Set forth an explanation of the efforts made by the person to comply with the order for corrective action; and (c) Be received by the State Fire Marshal or his or her designee before the expiration of the time allowed for compliance with the order set forth in the citation. 3. The State Fire Marshal or his or her designee may, upon a showing of good cause, grant a request for an extension made pursuant to this section. The State Fire Marshal shall report to the Board at its next regularly scheduled meeting all requests for an extension of time that were made and granted under this section.Nev. Admin. Code § 477.983
