Section 458.223 - Purpose and scope of program

The operator of a prevention program shall ensure that the prevention program operates to prevent the initial onset of a substance-related disorder and to eliminate or reduce the harmful effects of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs in individuals, families and communities. The operator of a prevention program may direct the activities of the prevention program toward specific individuals, selected communities or the general public.
