Section 445A.393 - Application for permit: Definition of site conditions, process materials, characteristics of waste and impacts

The failure or the inability to define adequately site conditions, process materials and the probable characteristics of the waste in the application for a permit may result in the Department requiring a higher standard of engineered containment or monitoring, or both. Persons wishing to materially modify a facility must submit all information necessary to define and describe the probable impacts of the modification or new process components on the area of review.
