Section 445A.711 - "Mitigation" defined"Mitigation" includes:
1. Avoiding an environmental impact by not taking a certain action or parts of an action.2. Minimizing an environmental impact by limiting the degree or magnitude of the action and its implementation.3. Rectifying an environmental impact by repairing, rehabilitating or restoring the part of the environment affected.4. Reducing or eliminating an environmental impact over time by preservation and maintenance during the life of the action.5. Compensating for an environmental impact by replacing or providing substitute resources or environments.Nev. Admin. Code § 445A.711
