Section 444.274 - Qualifications, duties and identification of lifeguards1. Lifeguards at a public bathing or swimming facility must have satisfactorily completed a Red Cross Advanced Lifesaving Course or the equivalent.2. Lifeguards must be in full charge and must have the authority to enforce all rules and regulations pertaining to sanitation and safety.3. Lifeguards on duty must not be subject to duties which will interfere with their supervision of bathers.4. Lifeguards shall wear distinguishing suits or emblems, so that they may be easily identified by persons using the facility.Nev. Admin. Code § 444.274
