If the governing body of a charter school wishes to amend its charter contract in a way that is not described in NAC 388A.310 to 388A.335, inclusive, the governing body must submit a written request to the sponsor of the charter school for a determination of whether the proposed amendment is:
1. A material amendment to the charter contract. If the sponsor determines that the proposed amendment is material, the governing body must obtain approval from the sponsor before the amendment becomes effective.2. A nonmaterial amendment to the charter contract. If the sponsor determines that the proposed amendment is not material, the governing body is not required to obtain approval from the sponsor before the amendment becomes effective.Nev. Admin.
