Section 293.077 - Major and minor political parties: Use of name on ballot, sample ballot or application to register to voteIf a major political party or minor political party files an amended certificate of existence pursuant to NRS NRS 293.128 or 293.171, respectively, that amends the name of the political party:
1. The amended name of the political party is not required to be used by the Secretary of State, county clerk or city clerk on any ballot, sample ballot or application to register to vote until January 1 of the year following the year in which the amended certificate of existence is filed with the Secretary of State and thereafter.2. The former name of the political party may be used by the Secretary of State, county clerk or city clerk on any ballot, sample ballot or application to register to vote through December 31 of the year in which the amended certificate of existence is filed with the Secretary of State.Nev.
