This rule establishes procedures for the sampling and testing of small quantities of materials. It is intended that the reduced sampling and testing procedures be permitted for small quantities of materials that will not adversely affect the traffic-carrying capacity of a completed facility. These procedures will not be permitted for concrete in major structures or other structurally critical items.
