If there are substantive changes in the employment outcome, the VR services to be provided, or the providers of the services, the IPE must be amended or revised. The individual or, as appropriate, his/her representative, in collaboration with a designated representative of MDRS or a qualified VR counselor will determine the specific changes needed. 73Plus, as with the initial IPE, amendments will not take effect until agreed to and signed by the individual or, as appropriate, his/her representative and by a qualified VR/VRB counselor employed by MDRS. 74
Furthermore, a qualified VR/VRB counselor and the individual, or the individual's representative must review the IPE at least annually. This annual review is required to assess the individual's progress toward achieving the identified employment outcome. 75
