"Eligible Individual" means any individual to include those appointed, elected, or under contract, who performs services for the Employer as an Employee or Independent Contractor for which Compensation is paid, and who meets the criteria set forth in Section 2.1. Individuals who do not perform services for the Employer may not defer Compensation under the Plan.
