Rule 23-101-4.4 - Applications Received from Mississippi Residents Out-Of-StateA. Applications made for Mississippi residents who are temporarily out of the state may be accepted. Generally the applicant must return to the state before the application processing period ends.B. The application of a Mississippi resident who is hospitalized in another state and planning to return to Mississippi when discharged may be processed in the usual manner. If the application is approved, it must be reviewed every three (3) months to determine if the individual's intent is to continue to reside in Mississippi.23 Miss. Code. R. 101-4.4
