At the discretion of the State Entomologist, a quarantine may be placed on an entire state wherein adequate restrictions or regulations are not in force to prevent, contain, or control occurrences of Varroa mite, Africanized or hybridized African/European bees or other contagious bee diseases, parasites, or pests of honey bees.
