Rule 15-19-60-11.5.11 - Tattoo and Permanent Makeup Aftercare Instructions

Every client, prior to the tattooing procedure beginning, shall be given a printed statement of instructions for care of the tattoo, and must contain, at a minimum, the following information:

1. Care and cleaning of the specific area tattooed;

2. Signs and symptoms of infections; and

3. Instructions to consult with a medical professional if there are signs or symptoms of infection.
