The Council shall consist of seven (7) members as set forth in § 73-38-11 of the Code, for the terms indicated therein, and shall serve under the jurisdiction of the State Board of Health. The purpose of the Council is to serve in an advisory capacity to the Department in matters relating to the administration and interpretation of the Speech Pathologists and Audiologists Act.
