Section R. 28.1814 - Rule 814. Parking for certain purposes prohibited; violation as civil infraction(1) A person shall not park a vehicle on any street for the principal purpose of doing any of the following: (a) Displaying the vehicle for sale.(b) Washing, polishing, greasing, or repairing the vehicle, except for repairs necessitated by an emergency.(c) Displaying advertising.(d) Selling merchandise from the vehicle, except in a duly established market place or when so authorized or licensed under the ordinances of this governmental unit.(e) Storage for more than 48 continuous hours.(2) A person who violates this rule is responsible for a civil infraction.Mich.
