Section R. 400.3121 - Penalties for failure to pursue potential benefits; verification requirementsRule 21.
(1) If a client fails to pursue a potential benefit, then the group is ineligible.(2) If a client or other group member takes any action that restricts the amount of a benefit available to the group, then the group is ineligible.(3) A client's statement that he or she has applied for a benefit or that he or she is not eligible shall be accepted as true, unless the statement is unclear, inconsistent, or in conflict with other information.Mich.
