Section R. 400.10159 - Reporting hospitalization or death of residentRule 159.
(1) Any serious injury or illness that requires the hospitalization of a resident shall be reported to the parent and responsible referring agency as soon as possible, but not more than 24 hours after hospitalization.(2) The death of a resident shall be reported immediately to all of the following entities: (a) The parents or next of kin.(c) The referring agency.(d) Law enforcement officials.Mich.
