(1) A facility shall establish and follow written health service policies and procedures that address all of the following: (a) Routine and emergency medical and dental care.(b) Health screening procedures.(c) Maintenance of health records.(d) Storage of medications.(e) Dispensing medication.(f) Personnel authorized to dispense medications.(2) Prescription medication shall be kept in the original pharmacy-labeled container, stored in a locked area, and refrigerated if required.(3) Medical treatment, including the prescribing of medications, shall be under the supervision of a licensed physician.Mich.
