Section 26.04.01.27 - Maintenance Log

A. A supplier of water shall maintain a log of all maintenance activities that occur during the daily operation of the water supply system.

B. The Approving Authority shall specify the information that shall be contained in the maintenance log.

C. The superintendent in daily responsible charge shall attest to the veracity of the log by signing the maintenance log at the end of the day, shift, work period, or at an interval specified by the Approving Authority.

D. The current maintenance log shall be maintained at the plant site at all times and may not be removed except for duplication. The log books shall be retained for 3 years before disposal.

E. The Approving Authority shall report to the Board any irregular, untruthful, or misleading information reported on the maintenance log.
