Section 10.44.26.02 - Qualifications - Dentist Who Has Passed a Regional BoardTo qualify for a volunteer dentist's license, a dentist who has passed a regional board as defined in Health Occupations Article, § 4-306(a)(3), Annotated Code of Maryland, shall:
A. Be of good moral character;B. Be 18 years old or older;C. Hold a Degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery, Doctor of Dental Medicine, or the equivalent from a college or university that is: (1) Authorized by any state or province of Canada to grant the degree; and(2) Recognized by the Board as: (a) Requiring adequate preprofessional collegiate training; and(b) Maintaining an acceptable course of dental instruction;D. Pass the NERB dental written examinations;E. Pass the Maryland Jurisprudence Examination on the Maryland State Dental Law;F. Hold an active license to practice dentistry in another state or in the District of Columbia;G. Meet the qualifications otherwise required for a general license to practice dentistry by Health Occupations Article, Title 4, Annotated Code of Maryland;H. Complete the continuing education requirements for an active general license to practice dentistry; andI. Provide dental services as set forth in Regulation .11 of this chapter.Md.
