Section 10.44.04.36 - Issuance of Recognition to Prescribe and Administer Medication

A. The Board may issue a recognition as qualified to prescribe and administer medication to a dental hygienist who is not certified or otherwise recognized in another state after the Board's review of:

(1) The applicant's application;

(2) The applicant's qualifications; and

(3) Any other pertinent documents or information requested by the Board.

B. The Board may issue a recognition as qualified to prescribe and administer medication to a dental hygienist who is certified or otherwise recognized in another state after the Board's review of:

(1) The applicant's application and accompanying affidavit;

(2) The applicant's qualifications; and

(3) Any other pertinent documents or information requested by the Board.
