Section 10.44.04.33 - Emergency Response Plan for Administering Medication

A. A dentist who supervises a dental hygienist who is recognized by the Board to prescribe and administer medication shall have a medical emergency plan for the dental hygienist to follow in the event of an emergency.

B. In the event of an emergency, the dental hygienist shall immediately summon the supervising dentist.
